The Unending

The Unending...
by China C. Cancio
Thrust into this world of madness
A puzzle forever be unsolved.
Here's joy, sadness then the merciful peace of death
Moments undetermined; is it real or still a dream?
Chasing the uncertainty of the wind;
Mocked by the certainty of uselessness.
Perplexing that one knows he's dying
Scent of death, the unending mystery.

THE FLAMES
by China C. Cancio
If thou are in my eye,
I in thine appear.
If love is full in thee,
I in you would rest.
If tears would quench the thirst,
Thy drops I would save.

REMEMBRANCE

REMEMBRANCE
by China C. Cancio
In the dark sky, a full moon
On the stream, a reflection.
Ornamented path, blue and white flowers
Blooming more at the gloomy hour.
Plain is the night,
A garden in the moonlight.
Scent of roses fills the air;
The lugubrious howl of a dog,
the only sound heard.
A plain face looking to the south,
Ruminating the strange events of the past.
Her sight to the serpentine course of the creek;
The scenery, a sad masterpiece.

WHISPER
WHISPER
by: China C. Cancio
Allow the wind to carry my whisper of love for thee;
Let no obstacle prevent thee from hearing it.
For the Master will soon take away what i only borrow;
In thine dreams, my memories will reside for many tomorrows.
